Over the course of a series of bilateral meetings and a plenary session, ministers discussed the current economic situation and the issues on the financial and economic agenda.

The 48th Franco-German Financial Economic Council took place on the 9th of February in Paris. Ministers Michel Sapin, Emmanuel Macron, Wolfgang Schäuble and Parliamentary State Secretary Brigitte Zypries, met today together with the President of the Deutsche Bundesbank, Jens Weidmann, and the Governor of the Banque de France, François Villeroy de Galhau. During bilateral talks and a plenary session, they discussed the current economic situation and the issues on the financial and economic agenda.
