French Guiana: statement by Bernard Cazeneuve

On Monday 27 March, Bernard Cazeneuve made a statement on the situation in French Guiana. In particular he announced sending a ministerial delegation "by the end of the week". The Prime Minister also confirmed his willingness to sign a pact for the future with French Guiana as soon as possible, as long as "conditions of respect and public order are met". These announcements are part of the efforts of the interministerial mission sent to French Guiana last Saturday to engage in dialogue and formulate proposals for resolving the crisis.
